In "One-on-1 with Budd Mishkin" Fernandez highlights city kids' learning after 3 PM

NYC Youth Alliance kicked off a two-week vigil to protect vital services to kids in City budget.

The Afterschool Alliance and MetLife Foundation honored TASC and New York City Commissioner of the Department of Youth and Community Development Jeanne Mullgrav.

The president of The After-School Corporation (TASC), Lucy N. Friedman, joined supporters of after-school programs across the state in commending Governor Eliot Spitzer for proposing a $10 million supplement to federal after-school funding in his Executive Budget for fiscal year 2009.

The Chinese-American Planning Council after-school program and City Connection participant, Daan Chen, are featured in The New York Times Neediest Cases. The program is administered by TASC with support from the New York Times Neediest Cases Fund.
