Info OST Online Help Desk

The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (NYC DYCD) has contracted TASC to provide training and support on the DYCD OST Online database system. Our catalog of trainings is geared to meet all the OST Online needs of after-school program staff members, from front line workers to supervisors of multiple OST programs. We also provide technical, day-to-day support through our Help Desk for all DYCD OST programs. All trainings take place at DYCD Headquarters, 161 William Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY.

TASC offers the following trainings for staff members in OST sites:

DYCD OST Online 101: System overview and data entry
(Elementary School)

This training is designed for elementary school site staff members who are new to OST Online and are responsible for entering and maintaining program data. Individuals must know how to use a computer to attend this training.

DYCD OST Online 101: System overview and data entry
(Middle School/High School/Option 2)

This training is designed for secondary school site staff members – those with Middle School, High School and Option 2 contracts – who are new to OST Online and are responsible for entering and maintaining program data. Individuals must know how to use a computer to attend this training.

DYCD OST Online 201: Managing information, generating reports and interpreting data

This training is designed for all those with extensive experience with OST Online and for management level staff members who want to use data to make decisions on program management and quality.

DYCD OST Online 301: Training the trainers

This training is designed for supervisors who manage multiple OST program sites and for data management personnel from providers with multiple OST contracts. The session will help site supervisors who have extensive experience with OST Online better support frontline staff.

DYCD OST Online Workscope

This training is designed for supervisors and site directors who are responsible for creating and submitting workscopes to DYCD in April 2010. The session will help supervisors and site directors complete and submit their workscopes successfully to DYCD. Individuals must know how to use a computer to attend this training.

TASC Annual Report 2007-2008

The TASC 2007-2008 Annual Report features highly accomplished people, from star chefs and astrophysicists to playwrights and tech entrepreneurs, sharing memories of what they did after school. The report describes one of the most transformative public-private initiatives in New York City history, which increased public funding for daily after-school programs from $60 million to $295 million over ten years, and increased the number of kids served annually from 10,000 to 140,000.
