On Sunday, June 29th, the New York City Council passed the FY 09 New York City budget totaling $59.1 billion. Council spending for citywide initiatives for FY09 has decreased by 39%, from $302 million in FY08 to $185.5 million. TASC received a $3.8 million restoration of funding from the City Council to support after-school programming city-wide.
