TASC works with partners at the city, state and federal level to advocate for policy changes to ensure efficient and effective use of public resources, and to increase after-school funding. The common goal of these partners is to expand access to high-quality after-school programs. These partners join us in our work for children, young people and families.

  • Afterschool Alliance
    A national non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of after-school programs nationally, and advocating for safe, quality programs for all children.

  • Coalition for After-School Funding
    A New York-based statewide coalition of parents, children and more than 300 organizations dedicated to after-school programs.

  • Fight Crime: Invest in Kids: New York
    The New York State branch of a national crime prevention organization of police chiefs, sheriffs, prosecutors and crime victims.

  • New York City Youth Alliance
    A consortium of nonprofit groups that advocate on behalf of several hundred youth-serving organizations across New York City.

  • New York State Afterschool Network (NYSAN)
    TASC was a leader in the creation of the New York State Afterschool Network. NYSAN is a public/private partnership of state, regional and local groups dedicated to promoting young people's safety, learning and healthy development outside the traditional classroom. NYSAN’s activities are directed toward building the capacity and commitment of communities to increase the quality and availability of programs during non-school hours.
